Disable this function from your Smartphones to prevent Hacking

Security Tips: Hackers are targeting smartphones with Android Version 8 or above by NFC Beaming

Presently, more than 50 percent of smartphone users are using Android Oreo 8.0 or above. Recently, a researcher Y. Shafranovich disclosed this bug. He told that hackers are targeting smartphones like OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo having Android 8.0 or above through NFC Beaming and injecting Malwares in these phones. These malwares help hackers to grab data stored on your smartphones.

We know that NFC is very important feature of your smartphone and most of the users use it for NFC/Contactless Payments but it has become a tool for the hackers to steal your data too. When an infected smartphone comes closer to hacker's NFC enabled device, it starts sending data to hacker.

Although,Google is trying to remove this bug but users will have to follow some security measures. Keep it in mind that always install Apps from Google Play only as they are scanned and verified by Google. Google automatically remove those apps which are harmful for a device from Play Store. That's why, it is safe to install it from here. Never install apps directly from downloaded APK files as they can be modified of malwares may have injected into them.
