HDFC Bank payment platform again under technical glitch, know what the bank said

HDFC Bank, which was targeted during the last few months due to technical fault, once again faced this problem on 1st March. On Monday, its online payment platform again got technical fault. Since then, HDFC Bank has been targeted by the users' displeasure. On social media, users complained of difficulties in processing the transaction.
Complaint regarding not getting access to net banking and app
Some customers complained that they are not getting access to net banking or mobile app of the bank. Although it is not yet known why this technical defect occurred, but a spokesperson of the bank has said that this defect was very limited and later became normal. The spokesman said that the problem had arisen for a while but it was later rectified. The bank apologizes if the customer has a problem. However, a large number of customers had complained of a flaw in the bank's online payment platform.
RBI will conduct auditing of bank's IT infrastructure
Last year, RBI had told HDFC Bank that it cannot issue new cards till it does not correct the technical glitches in its online services. HDFC Bank issues one and a half lakh cards every month. Because of this, the bank has not been able to take any digital initiative so far. Last month, RBI appointed an external company to audit HDFC Bank's IT infrastructure. HDFC Bank submitted a plan to RBI. In this, the bank had told how it would fix technical problems. The bank had said that it is looking for immediate and long term solutions.
