Hyundai will bring hydrogen-powered car, will travel up to 1000 km on a refuel

Hyundai Motors announced that the company may launch the fuel cell (hydrogen) electric vehicle Nexo in 2021 next year. Hydrogen fuel cells in the SUV can travel up to 1000 km at a time. Also, the hydrogen cell can be refilled in just five minutes. Meaning once after running 1000 km, it can be refueled again in 5 minutes and run for 1000 km.

There will be no carbon emission

At present, all electric car full charging takes at least one hour from fast charger. The charging time from the normal charger is 5 to 8 hours. The company introduced this SUV at the Idea-Korea Summit held in Delhi last year. The company claims that hydrogen fuel based cars will not emit green house gases from Nexo. Also, there will be no carbon emission at all. According to the company's claim, if an Olympic athlete is run into a gas-filled bubble emitted from the car, he will have no problem.

Motor and power

Nexo's electric motor will generate 163 PS of power and 395 Nmm of torque. At the same time, it can hold a speed of 0 to 100 km in just 9.2 seconds. The total tank capacity of Nexo is 156.6 liters. It consists of three hydrogen tanks and each holds 52.2 liters.
