After Hyundai Kona, the company has started preparations to launch its new suv in India. And it is reported that this new electric SUV will be equipped with hydrogen fuel cells, that is, it will be powered by water . It is being claimed that this SUV will give a range of 1000 km i.e. it can be run up to 1000 km with single charging.
This second electric SUV from the company will be named Hyundai Nexo and is also being called Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV). Hydrogen fuel cells power the electric motor in the vehicle. It is also said that these green houses are free of gases and emit only water. It is claimed that FCEV filters up to 99.9 percent of the polluted elements. This car will not cause pollution at all.
The car will refuel in 5 minutes
While the rest of the electric vehicles take hours to charge, the hyundai Nexo will take just a few minutes to refuel. The company claims that this vehicle will take only 5 minutes to refuel.
Power and capacity
The nexo's electric motor gives 163 PS of power and 395 Nmm of torque. At the same time, in just 9.2 seconds, this vehicle can hold a speed of 0 to 100 km. Talking about the tank capacity, the Nexo has a capacity of 156.6 liters. It consists of three hydrogen tanks and each holds 52.2 liters. The Nexo will have five doors. The most important thing is that in terms of size, this five-seater sports utility vehicle will be longer than the SUV Creta.
This SUV was introduced by hyundai at the India-Korea Summit held in Delhi last year. At the same time, the company can launch it by 2021.
