Maruti may launch 7 seater Wagon R in India,


HIGHLIGHTS: Maruti Suzuki may launch a 7-seater model of its popular car WagonR in India. Actually, testing of this big Wagon R in Delhi NCR has indicated this. 


Maruti introduced the 7-seater concept model of the car at the 2013 Motor Show in Indonesia. Testing of this car on the Gurugram Delhi Expressway indicated that the company is now working towards launching the car in the market.

According to the indications received from the car during testing, the car may look taller than the current model but the new car will be less than 4 meters in length. That is, there will be some agreement on the place in the back seat. The design of the new car may get some changes compared to the current Wagon R. Apart from this, changes will also be found in the interior of the car.




According to media reports, a 7-seater Wagon R 1.2-liter petrol engine can be found. At the same time, options of alloy wheels can be found in the new model. Currently, Maruti has not issued any statement regarding the 7-seater Wagon R. There is no indication of when the car will launch. It is believed that with the help of the new car, Maruti can challenge the Datsun Go Plus and Renault Triber.

Maruti launched the new Wagon R early last year, which is bigger than its old model. The new Wagon R is priced between Rs 4.19 lakh and Rs 5.69 lakh. The car is present in two engine options of 1 liter and 1.2 liter.
